Overview

The Treasury Management Inside Sales Representative supports the growth of Treasury Management services by assisting with cross-selling products across business segments. This role provides task-based support to Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) and Relationship Managers by helping identify opportunities, conducting outreach, preparing proposals, and coordinating implementation activities. The position performs assigned tasks such as following up with clients, gathering information, maintaining pipeline records, and preparing materials, while using reporting tools to support revenue efforts and enhance the client experience.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact for small business clients, responding to Treasury Management service requests and routine product inquiries to support a best-in-class client experience.
  • Assist with outreach to existing and prospective clients by scheduling calls, gathering information, and documenting opportunities.
  • Support TMOs and Relationship Managers by preparing proposals, product information, and presentation materials for Treasury Management services.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Treasury Management products in order to share information and respond to basic client questions.
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and assist with onboarding and implementation activities.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for client questions on Treasury Management products.
  • Collaborate with TMOs and Relationship Managers by supplying information and materials that support the sales process from proposal through implementation.
  • Maintain and update the Treasury Management pipeline in CRM systems, ensuring accurate entry of activities and follow-up actions.
  • Compile client data and prepare reports to support identification of trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Generate standard summaries and materials to support revenue tracking, pricing requests, and waiver review processes.
  • Assist in maintaining sales tools, pitchbooks, and reporting dashboards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to help ensure accurate setup and onboarding of Treasury Management products.
  • Provide product reference materials and assist with banker training sessions by preparing content and scheduling logistics.
  • Participate in assigned projects and initiatives that enhance client experience and product delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of banking, treasury management, sales support, or related client service experience.
  • Proven sales and customer service skills with focus on client support.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to interact with clients, peers, and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.Ability to compile client data and prepare standard reports to support analysis and tracking.
  • Working knowledge of banking and Treasury Management products; willingness to expand knowledge through training.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Preferred Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
