The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the proper processing of all residential loan types from time of application through approval and thereafter closing of the loan. Performs pre- funding and post-closing reviews and verification of loan collateral. Uploads closed loans onto loan systems. Adheres to bank's residential loan procedures and investor's loan and documentation policies and guidelines.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
8-10 years experience in residential mortgage loan processing. Required.
General knowledge of loan documentation and post-closing review.
Recent Encompass and Processing Experience.
Knowledge of collateral control, loan servicing requirements, compliance and secondary markets.
Basic knowledge of related compliance regulations such as RESPA, Fair Lending, HMDA, etc.
Basic knowledge of Bank operations, products and services; related state and federal laws and regulations, and other Bank operational policies and procedures.
Able to manage high volume of activity and maintain production goals.
Able to work in a team environment.
Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Industry related education a plus.
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate or related field.
