The Salesforce Platform Developer Senior is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, systems analysts, MuleSoft developers, and other technical teams, including marketing, to translate business needs into scalable, technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. The developer manages system integrations, optimizes performance, and ensures that solutions follow best practices for quality, security, and scalability. Additionally, the role includes participation in technical design sessions to integrate and optimize Salesforce solutions.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of customized Salesforce solutions leveraging Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components to meet complex business requirements.
Architect and implement Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
Develop and optimize workflows, triggers, and page layouts to automate business processes and ensure scalable, high-performance solutions.
Customize and extend Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, ensuring solutions are aligned with business needs and technical specifications.
Configure and enhance nCino applications to streamline banking processes, utilizing advanced customization techniques (preferred).
Lead data migrations, ensuring the integrity, consistency, and security of data across environments.
Architect and manage large datasets, optimizing data architecture for performance, scalability, and efficient querying.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements and ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable, technical solutions, utilizing Salesforce’s capabilities to their fullest potential.
Conduct comprehensive code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
Ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards, and provide ongoing support to resolve issues and improve solution performance.
Maintain detailed and thorough technical documentation for all custom development and system integrations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and facilitating future development.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, applying advanced optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency.
Implement Salesforce development best practices, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with hands-on experience configuring and customizing these platforms.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data model, security principles, and best practices for data integrity and access control.
Extensive experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools for seamless system integrations and data synchronization.
Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Copado.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes for Salesforce development, ensuring efficient deployment and continuous integration.
Hands-on experience configuring and customizing nCino solutions for banking, optimizing workflows such as loan origination and account onboarding.
Certified in Salesforce Platform Developer I & II, with additional expertise in nCino Administrator or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
