    Responsible for maintaining internal control over financial reporting.  Preparation of financial statements and corresponding notes and regulatory reports. Leads CNB efforts in maintaining internal controls over financial reporting.  Keeps the COSO framework financial risk assessment current. Ensures a systematic, disciplined approach for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes at CNB.  Prepares reports for top management.




    • CPA/Master in Accounting preferred
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    • Knowledge of IFRS preferred, but not required. Clear understanding of COSO
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
    • At least 5 years in Bank accounting/internal/external audit experience
    • Analytical and skilled in spreadsheet and mainframe interface computer technology
    • Experienced working with upper management, with excellent communications skills and a strategic  approach to problem solving. 
    • You must have a valid driver’s license and must have the ability to independently visit clients in our entire banking area sometimes with little or no notice.
    • External client interaction (meetings, networking etc), sales activities, accomplishment of goals, accuracy and regulatory compliance are critical functions of this job

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
